Insurance Information

Accepted Insurance

We accept almost all insurance. Below we have listed the most common insurance we accept.  If you are not sure if we take your insurance please call our office for more information.

Currently AI Dupont Hospital for Children does not take any United Health Care/Unison insurance policies.  We are glad to say that we do take this insurance and we can see your children immediately.

Please have your insurance card and ID with you at the time of your child's visit.  We need to see your insurance card at every visit.  If we file a claim, you are responsible for the co-pay at the time of the visit.  If you policy is cancelled or you are not insured you will be responsible for the cost of the visit.  Also many insurance policies have high deductibles, so please make payment on your balances.

If you have a newborn please add your child to your insurance policy as soon as possible.  This can take up to 30 days.  If you receive a bill, please contact us with and update of the insurance status.  If your child does not get activated you will be responsible for the bill.
